Features
The Clickfree™ Traveler can automatically back up more than 400 different file types, including:
* Photos files
* Music files
* Video files
* Presentations
* E-mail
* Artwork
* Spreadsheets
* Documents
* Tax returns
* Accounting documents
* Favorite websites
…and so much more!
The Clickfree™ Traveler offers incremental backup; upon first connection it will automatically find all of the user data files and copy them to the hard drive. Each time after that, it will only back up the new files or the ones that have changed.
While the software’s default settings will probably be sufficient for most users, it is user-modifiable, providing full control over the backup settings. Even after the settings have been changed, the backup will still run without any user interaction.
Backs up data from multiple computers. Easily restore your lost files back to your computer. Transfer your files to a new computer. Share photos, music and videos with friends!

I am often called upon from family and friends to help fix their computer. I guess you can call me free tech support. Most of the time it’s just scanning their computer and getting rid of junk. But most tend to forget to backup important files. When your important files get corrupted then you can’t get them back. Things like Tax returns, documents, family pictures are important things you want to keep safe.
There are many backup solutions out there but I wanted one that anyone can use. That’s why I came upon Clickfree Traveler. This backup solution advertises no setup or software to install. A plug and play solution should work for everyone.

The Clickfree traveler is the size of a credit card. The drive has its own built in usb connecter. All you do is connect the Clickfree traveler and wait for it to load its program. The Clickfree will show a countdown. If you do not continue the Clickfree will auto backup. It you choose enter. You will be able to search files. Then it will ask you which files to choose. Since I am reviewing the 16GB model obviously my entire hard drive can’t be backup. So I chose to backup only certain files. Simple as that your files are now safe on a solid state flash drive.

This solution is best for the traveler. It can easily fit into your wallet and backup your important files. The price is pretty good for a backup solution. And this model can be used with MAC as well as PC. For someone who wants to backup their most important files easily this is one of the best solutions available.

IronKey Secure Flash Drive (4GB) Review

Review by K.C. Kim
$149
Official Site HERE

I was looking for a secure USB flash drive to store important data. When I saw an ad on a popular gadget blog for the IronKey I thought I would further investigate it. On their website the Ironkey is used by businesses, government, and individuals that want extra security for their most important data. The hardware uses hardware-based encryption so you know your data is safe.
The Ironkey is well built and made of metal. If feels like it’s built to last a long time. The quality is better than any other flash drive I’ve used yet. All my other flash drives are made of cheap plastic.

The flash drive is plug and play when using Windows XP or Vista. When I connected it to my XP PC, it quickly found the drive and was up and working. Next you will be asked to create a password. 10 incorrect passwords make the drive not work. Once you have your password you will be offered online services to protect Web surfing with the portable Firefox Web browser. You can choose yes or do this later on. Finally we get to control panel where you have many options.

If you want a solidly built flash drive that provides hardware-base encryption for your data and passwords then the Ironkey maybe right for you. It’s rather simple for anyone to use while keeping your data protected to the max.

CableJive iStubz Review

The regular iPod sync cable included with all iPods and iPhones are for universal use. That’s why the cord is longer. But the iStubz is for those who don’t need that long of a cord. Especially for those who have Macbook and laptops who don’t want a cluttered desk.

Price is $7.95 for the 7cm and $8.95 for the 22cm cable. You can choose to get black or white versions which are very nice. I match my black 2nd Gen iPod Touch with the black 7cm iStub is a perfect combination.

iStubz is a great product and at a cheap price you could buy four or five for the whole family. It keeps you less cluttered. And great for laptop users. I don’t need that long usb sync cable. So the iStubz is a great accessory to get with my iPod or iPhone.

Intro: Finally we are seeing some decent cases for netbooks come out. The Solo Tech Netbook Mini Instant-Messenger laptop bag is just one of the new bags worth mentioning. It not like the other sleeve cases that are on the market. Rather it’s a shrunk down messenger bag for Netbooks smaller than 11 inches. It can work for most Netbooks on the market. And the big sell is for travelers due to it being TSA approved.

Design: The Messenger bag looks almost identical to larger laptop bags. Except it’s shrunken down to netbook sizes. I could be mistaken for camera case since it’s so small. My HP 2140 10.2” netbooks fits perfectly in the bag. The interior is well cushioned and soft so it’s less likely that it will scratch the netbook while moving the netbook in and out of the case. Also you will find a quality case with great materials it’s very well made and built to protect your netbook.

Function: The Solo Tech case comes with a removable, adjustable shoulder strap. There is a compartment for the netbook up to 11 inches. With the opposite side having two pockets and two additional sections for accessories. Hidden underneath to one side is a zippered slot for ac adapter and cord.

Conclusion: The minute I got the Solo Tech Messenger bag I knew it would be the perfect case to hold my HP 2140 netbook. It has room to carry everything with me. As well as being great for travel with its small size and TSA approval to get past security checks fast. It’s by far the best netbook case I have reviewed yet.

Samsung SE-S084B/RSBN External Slim USB DVD-Writer Review

Intro: I was looking for a slim external drive for my laptop. There are a lot of generic ones on sites like EBay. But you get what you pay for and most of the time the no name brands are pretty poor. Then I noticed that Samsung has a slim DVD Writer. And when given a chance to review it I jumped on it.

Design: The SE-S084 is sleek black so it’s goes with everything. The build quality is pretty good with mostly plastic structure. It small enough to pair well with any netbook. This is the main reason I wanted it was to use it with my HP 2140. At 19mm(H)x141mm(W)x157mm(D) it’s the perfect size for a small netbook.

Functions: The unit is powered by USB which is a major plus if you use it with a laptop. No ac adapter to carry around. It burns an amazing amount of formats from CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-Ram, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, and DVD+RW. Speeds are also pretty good in this unit. My laptop had no problem recognizing the drive. It includes Nero to burn all of your software. The unit uses manual ejecting to save on battery life of your laptop. And you can eject even when the unit is off which is a nice feature.

Conclusion: Samsung makes great products and the SE-S084 is an excellent drive for your netbook or laptop. Is small enough for travel and rugged enough to last a long time. This would be my first purchase if I were buying a laptop that doesn’t have a built in drive.

PokerMouse V2 Review

Reviewed by K.C. Kim
$99
http://www.poker-mouse.com/
Intro: I review a lot of products and come across many sites through blogs such as Engadget and Gizmodo. Here I saw this mouse and thought I give it a try. The Pokermouse V2 is a pistol grip style mouse. It’s a bit different than any other mouse I’ve come across.

Design: Made of plastic the mouse feels good in hand. It says proudly made in China which I found kind of funny. But what isn’t made in China these days. It came with a usb cable to charge the internal battery. Receive to go wireless. A simple manual and of course the Pokermouse. Overall the quality as good as my Microsoft PC mouse. It feels good in hand and should last a good while. According the manual the battery should last at least 3 years.

Function: First grab the usb cable and the Pokermouse and connect it to the laptop or PC. A red light will show up this means it’s charging. When it turns green then your mouse is fully charged. Next connect the receiver to an open usb port. Now you have to pair the two together. There is a button on the bottom of the Pokermouse and a button on the receiver. Once I press both buttons at the same time a couple of seconds later the mouse cursor moves and I’m all set. I used the mouse online and to play some Yahoo free games online. And found that the mouse works remarkably well. Very similar to a real mouse. Except you could be lying in bed and player various games online. Something you can’t do with your wired PC mouse. The trackball works pretty similar to the built in trackpad in my HP 2140. It’s not perfect but better than expected.

Conclusion: This is an excellent mouse for those who like to surf the web or play online games. For the slacker it’s perfect. The ability to get unwired and move around the mouse is great. It sort of the interactive feel of the Wii controller. For someone like me who is constantly on the computer this mouse is great while I can browse a site from a distance.

TrendyDigital MaxGuard eReader Jacket TM for Amazon2 Kindle Review

Reviewed by K.C. Kim
$27.99

Intro: Ebook Readers were the next big thing for a while now. But it was Amazon Kindle that has put it on the map. Now with the Kindle 2 you know that Ebook Readers are here to stay. At $359 the Kindle 2 is not cheap. And that is the reason it took me awhile to purchase one. Now that I have one I love it. Only problem is keeping my new gadget nice and new. This is the reason I was looking for a quality case for my new Kindle2. Not just anyone will do. Some cases are too large, others have quality issues, and some do more harm than good. Today I review the Trendy MaxGuard eReader Jacket

Design: The TrendyDigital MaxGuard eReader Jacket comes in black with white stitching. The stitching of the leather case is perfect with zero imperfections. It has a TrendyDigital logo stitch near the top of the case. It is a rather attractive case with a slim profile. Perfect for those who like to travel. Protect and carry your Kindle2 with very little added weight.
Function: The MaxGuard eReader Jacket opens right to left. Most cases open left to right but it’s not that big of a deal. The Amazon Kindle2 fits perfectly with SurFit compartment. The interior has a soft cushion so no scratching of the kindle while it’s in there.

Conclusion: That are still very few Kindle2 cases out there so the selection is few. But out of all the ones currently out in the market this one stand out from crowd. The quality, materials, great fit, size, and price make it my pick for your Kindle2. If you own a Kindle2, you owe it to yourself to protect it with the best case in the market.

Woodees Inner Ear Sound Isolating Stereo Earphones with Mic Review

***Review was from prepreduction sample. Packaging and logos will be different in retail product.***
For iPhone & 2G/3G Smartphones.
Wood Sounds Richer
Much of music is created with instruments made from natural wood from a finely tuned Steinway piano or Stravinsky violin to classic Fender Stratocaster guitars. The low resonance characteristics of wood provide for efficient, clean, rich reproduction of music which is why all of the most high end home speakers are made of wood. Simply tap on something metal or plastic and then tap on something made of wood, and you will instantly hear the resonance differences between those materials. So, it is only “natural” to create quality earphones from wood. Woodees!
The finest musical instruments have always been made from wood. Woodees from iConnects deliver pure and natural listening pleasure. Wood sounds amazing–nothing beats its deep bass, rich range of sound and inherent low resonance. And for your money, nothing beats Woodees. These natural wood earphones bring out a dense, polished listening experience from your mp3 player. And at about half the price of comparable high-end ear buds, you’re getting the best sound at the best price.
The cord is made with a very low durometer resin that creates a soft, pliable cord that does not develop “memory coil” or kinks when stowed. Additionally, because of the soft nature of the cord the static noise created when the cord brushes against your clothing while walking or jogging does not transfer to the earphone like with the harder plastic cords.
The microphone (compatible with iPhone/Smartphone 2G/3G) is small, balanced, lightweight, and sleek so as not to distract from the comfort of wearing the earphones. With a gentle squeeze of the mic, the music is paused and the mic is activated for hands free talk. Another squeeze and the call is terminated and the music resumes where you left off.
Woodees. Give your ears a pair today.
Features:
*Natural wood housing for deep bass sound
*Solid construction with small form factor, lightweight
*Soft cable for easy management
*3.5 mm stereo plug compatible with all music players
*Fashion-consciouse, ergonomic lightweight design
*Noise-isolating inner ear fit
*Four pairs extra silicone buds for customized fittings (XS/S/M/L)
*Compatible with iPod and all music devices with 3.5mm earphone jack

I was looking for some premium earphones to replace my stock Apple earphones and came upon the Woodees earphones w/mic. This can be used with the iPhone or iPods. There is a cheaper model just for iPods that does not have a mic. The big sell on these earphones are the wooden housing that supposed to provide better sound than your average plastic ones.

Design – Right away you notice the wood housings that give it a distinct look. If your sick of the white and black earphones then the Woodees have a very different look to it to make you stand out from the crowd. The cord is made of very low durometer resin that make it less likely to tangle up. Included is 4 different size silicone ear buds so you can always get the perfect fit. Also included is a carrying bag. Overall excellent designed earphones with high quality parts that are built to last.

Features – The main feature of these earphones is the wood housing that provides clear naturally sounding The Woodees are not noise canceling but do provide isolation with proper fit. So less outside noise coming in. The Woodees also are much different from any other earphones. It really has a natural rich sound that you normally would not hear in other in ear earphones.
A few features for you to note involve the microphone. When you squeeze/click the mic it will pause the music and if you are on an iPhone/Smartphone it will answer the call and allow you to talk hands free. On most iPod/Touchs it will simply pause the music. Then when you click the mic again it will terminate the call and resume play of the music and on iPod/Touchs it will resume play. On the iPhone and some versions of iPod/Touch if you DOUBLE click the mic while listening to music it will advance to the next song. This functionality varies by iPod/Touch version.

Conclusions – The Woodees Inner-Ear Sound Isolating Stereo Earphones with Mic is an excellent value. And provides a premium upgrade from the stock Apple earphones/headset while not being too expensive. The wood housing provides better and richer sound. So music and everything else sound much better. Wood definately makes a difference and Woodees are the answer for your next headset purchase for your iPhone or Touch.

Intro: I was looking for a headset that I could use for audio instant messaging and things like Skype. And noticed that Able Planet released some new headsets at CES. Able Planet known for their award winning Linx audio for superior sound and speech is now offering some new headsets. They offer two models, the high end Stereo TL300 and the mono TL200. They sell for $89.99 and $79.99. Here I review the Able Planet Clear Voice Stereo Telecom Headset w/ Patented LINX AUDIO™ TL300.

Design: The TL300 is well built and lightweight. Some other headsets I’ve purchased seem bulky and cheap in comparison. The TL300 on the other hand feels like it’s built to last for a long time. I found nothing flimsy about it. Also I like how lightweight it is. Just put in the included bag and you can take this headset with you when you travel. The headset has an adapter for mic and headphones. You can remove the adapter to make it regular headphones. There is also a switch to active and deactivate the mic. Comfort is always an issue especially if you plan on uses these for hours. Well I can say they are actually quite comfortable for long periods of time.

Features: First things first the TL300 can be used for such things as Skype, instant messaging (Voice chat), pc game headset, and more. It’s perfect for work or play. I’ve never used voice chat before but with these they open my eyes to want I been missing. Great way to talk to friends, family, and colleagues. The Headset can also be used as regular headphones. Since this had two foam pads you can listen to music or watch movies with the headset on. The quality is very good and I would compare to higher end headphones.

Conclusion: Able Planet’s TL300 is a great bang for you buck PC headset that offers great features, quality materials, and excellent voice and sound that you would look for in a headset. This is the first headset I would use on a regular basis. I am very impressed by the Able Planet’s TL300 offering and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

ATP ToughDrive Review

To hold your most important data, hard drives are out and flash memory disks are in. They have no moving parts. And can secure your most important data. But with the 100s of different flash drives it’s hard to decide which one to get. Here is the ATP ToughDrive and will it be tough enough for you as a consumer who might put it to the test in the harshest condition.
The ATP ToughDrive is a rugged designed USB Drive that is also waterproof and shockproof. The one I received had a Camoflauged design and 2GB model(Goes up to 8GB). It also features a rubberized texture that protects the drive from falls, drops, and being run over. It is made to be tough for the most extreme conditions. Other than the cap being a little on the loose side it features high build quality that would seem to last forever. The outing casing is less likely to scratch due to the rubber coating. The build quality and style of this drive is excellent.

In tests I put this in a glass of water fully submerged in hours. When dried off it’s still kept on working just a new as can be. Also since I live in the harsh midwest cold weather I threw the drive into a foot of snow and left it their for hours. Came back connected it to my computer and once again it came through. This shows me that this drive is built to last and take alot of abuse and still work. Also when transfering videos, photos and documents the thumb drive was quite speedy. Performing better than most of my other usb drives.

The ATP ToughDrive is one of the best solutions for those who need something more than your normal plastic cheaply made USB Drive. It features technology that will keep your data protected from the elements. If you work in a job that requires you to be in elements then this USB Drive is for you. With an attractive look, solid performance, and durability to last a lifetime, the ToughDrive is one serious contender for my money when you need to backup your most important files on the go.
Positives:
Very Durable
Built to last
Rubber Coated – Less likely of scratches
Good speed for file transfers
Waterproof a big plus
Fast and reliable
Negatives
Loose Cap
